At Heartland Cottage, we believe that the best way to learn about animals is to meet them in person. Come and meet our special animals, including Valais Blacknose sheep, Scottish Highland cows, Kune Kune pigs, Silky chickens, and much more. Our animals are friendly and love meeting new people. Manawatu Princess Lulubelle

Lulubelle is a Valais Blacknose who is trained as a support sheep. she loves to visit rest homes and daycares.

Queen Holly

Holly is trained in agility and was Champion lamb many times over the years.

Polly-anna and Rapunzel

Our Kunekunes are just the sweetest Polly-anna LOVES a tummy rub and has better manners then most children.

The Most Stunning highland cow in town!

Our Beautiful boy Benji has join us here at Heartland this year, Benji is 4 years old and is apart of a very special program we run here at Heartland.

Prince Charlie is our beautiful Valais Blacknose Ram. Charlie loves head scratches.

Poppy is our little charmer, she loves a cuddle but most of all she loves a snack, and snack will do, well that's what she thinks!
