Heartland Cottage is a animal rescue rehabilitation center and a place for the community to retrain animals find a love for learning and enjoy our special animals. Heartland Cottage is a very unique space where the Disability community and general public can come to learn about sustainable farming practices and interact with our special animals. Our Valais Blacknose sheep, Scottish Highland Cow, Kune Kune Pigs, Silky Chickens, and so many more await your visit. We offer guided tours by appointment only.
At Heartland Cottage we believe in hands-on learning. Our farm is designed to provide a hands-on experience of sustainable farming, from seed to harvest, and everything in between. We offer classes on a variety of topics, including animal care and training, horticulture, and so much more. Our knowledgeable team are here to help you learn and grow.
Heartland Cottage is a non-profit organization. Your support helps us continue to provide educational opportunities for the Disability community and the general public. Your donation helps feed and care for our special animals, maintain our facilities, and fund our educational programs.
