Heartland Cottage is a Petting Zoo/animal rescue rehabilitation and a place where the neurodiverse community retrain animals and find a love for learning. Open to the public everyday of the week, All bookings are guided tours Heartland Cottage is a very unique space where the general public can come to learn about animal health, sustainable farming practices and interact with our special animals. Our Valais Blacknose sheep, Scottish Highland Cow, Kune Kune Pigs, Silky Chickens, and so many more await your visit.

At Heartland Cottage we believe in hands-on learning. Our farm is designed to provide a hands-on experience of sustainable farming, from seed to harvest, and everything in between. We offer classes on a variety of topics, including animal care and training, horticulture, and so much more. Our knowledgeable team are here to help you learn and grow.
